Description: Morbius is finally almost out in cinemas, after literal years of delays considering Spider-Man: No Way Home was filmed a year later yet released earlier. The film is a part of Sony's shared universe of Spider-Man characters, although it seems to have some crossover with Disney's Marvel Cinematic Universe through Michael Keaton playing Adrian Toomes/Vulture. He played this character in Spider-Man: Homecoming but is it the exact same person, or another universe's version with the same actor, like JK Simons as J Jonah Jameson? We'll have to wait to find that out. Even though this is (mostly) its own thing, playing in the Marvel pool means that director Daniel Espinosa was privy to a few franchise secrets he had to keep quiet.
